About the Band

Winter crescent were formed at the winter of 2000 , in Heraklion Crete, Greece. After 8 years of line-up changes, the band started to find a stable formation in early 2008. Winter Crescent has performed over the years at various live stages of Heraklion and has recorded a demo cd entitled “Battle Of Egos”, with 7 songs (35 minutes playtime), which was self-released in the early May of 2009. Winter Crescent are currently promoting their demo cd and they are searching for a decent record deal. Their Demo has been the "PICK OF THE MONTH" on September's Greek Metal Hammer. Furthermore, it has received very good reviews at varius E-zines and Magazines around the world. We have released a cd called "Battle of Egos" and right now we are heading for a new release.We also had our first official video clip for the song "Battle of Egos part 1" which was produced by "Atheaton Media Center". Many people have said that this clip , is one of the best videos that have seen from a Greek Metal Band. For more news stay tuned ....

Βιογραφικό

Οι Winter Crescent δημιουργήθηκαν τον χειμώνα του 2000 από τον Αλέξη Κτιστάκη και τον Νίκο Δράκο στο Ηράκλειο Κρήτης.
Μετά από 8 χρόνια αλλαγών στα μέλη, η μπάντα άρχισε να αποκτά μία σταθερή σύσταση στις αρχές του 2008. Οι Winter Crescent έχουν κάνει αρκετές εμφανίσεις στους συναυλιακούς χώρους του Ηρακλείου και έχουν ηχογραφήσει το πρώτο τους demo cd με τίτλο “Battle Of Egos” το οποίο περιέχει 7 τραγούδια συνολικής διάρκειας 35' και κυκλοφόρησε από τους ίδιους στις αρχές Μαΐου του 2009.
Οι Winter Crescent, αυτό τον καιρό προωθούν το demo cd τους και ψάχνουν για ένα καλό δισκογραφικό συμβόλαιο. Επίσης , τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2009 έκαναν την 1η τους περιοδεία (prog and run tour festival) σε Ηράκλειο , Ρέθυμνο , Κατερίνη , Ιωάννινα , Λάρισα , Θεσσαλονίκη και Αθήνα .
Τον Δεκέμβριο του 2009, η μπάντα κέρδισε το διαγωνισμό του Stargazer Radio Show με έπαθλο τη δημιουργία ενός video clip για το τραγούδι τους "Battle of Egos part 1" με παραγωγή του "Atheaton Media Center".
